CloudWorld in Las Vegas, Ellison revealed high hopes for generative AI– expert system capable of creating new content– calling it a revolution and a development.”Generative AI. Is it the most-important technology ever? Probably,”Ellison told the jam-packed crowd attending his presentation.For designers, generative AI essentially changes how apps will be built and run at Oracle.”For instance, we’re not going to be writing new applications anymore in Java.
Not brand-new ones.”While Java advancement will continue to be used, it will not be used for constructing brand-new apps– code generation will do that.”If we’re beginning a brand new project, we’re creating that code. “Oracle is using Oracle APEX, its enterprise low-code and no-code application platform, to generate most brand-new Oracle applications. The peak application development methodology is faster, involves smaller teams, and provides more security, with no security bugs generated, and more dependability, generating stateless applications with automatic failover, Ellison said.AI is going to make our lives much better, Ellison stressed, citing examples such as an upcoming treatment for all variants of Covid. Ellison prepares for a worldwide race to develop what comes next, to develop better AI and deliver a much better future. Oracle has been using AI for many years however generative AI is different, he stated.” Generative AI is a transformation.
