Salesforce puts generative AI into Tableau, gives Big Data the present of gab

Caroline Sherman, VP of item management at Tableau, said the goal of the new technical innovations is to offer people a brand-new method to engage CRM and work together with information. “Tableau GPT with Slack and Pulse is a trifecta for individuals who have not been able to adapt information to daily work,” she said.

Generative AI? Yes, but with caveats

Salesforce’s survey discovered 57% of senior IT leaders are bullish on generative AI, with 80% seeing it as an advantage for information understanding; 75% stated they planned to implement generative AI over the next 18 months.

But 71% stated they think generative AI will introduce brand-new security threats to their information and 66% stated their workers don’t have the abilities to successfully take advantage of generative AI. Fifty-five percent of those polled stated they believe business require accurate, total and unified data for generative AI to work.
