Users folder. Right click a username from the list, and select Properties from the dropdown context menu, which will open the Properties screen for that particular user (Figure D). We are interested in the set of checkboxes at the bottom of this screen.

Configure local users’ Properties so that Password never ever expires is uncontrolled and User should change password at next logon is checked. We wish to put a check in the first checkbox, which is labeled User needs to alter password at next logon. However, in a lot of cases, that setting may be grayed out and not available. To make it available, first uncheck package labeled Password never expires.
When the modification to settings is total, click Apply and then OK to complete the procedure. Perform this task on other users from the list as you see fit, and when you have actually completed, you can exit both the Regional Users and Groups manager and the User Accounts control board.
