Image: megaflopp/Adobe Stock You’re switching from an iPhone to Android– specifically, to a Samsung Galaxy phone– and you wish to be able to transfer as much information as possible from your iPhone to your brand-new Samsung device. Eventually, a screen will appear asking if you want to copy apps and information. Tap Next to confirm
that you
wish to move this material. The next screen informs

Select A Source, tap the alternative for iPhone/iPad. You now have 2 choices for moving information. If you have the ideal type of
cable, you can link your iPhone and your Galaxy phone. For this, you would require a Lightning-to-USB-C cable television. To take this path, link the cable television to both phones. Tap the Trust button and enter the passcode on
your iPhone to verify the connection(Figure B). Figure B Image: Lance Whitney/TechRepublic Additionally, if you do not have the ideal cable, you can rather use iCloud. The downside with this option is that certain content, such as telephone call, will not get transferred. To take this route, make certain that the products you wish to transfer are being supported and synced with iCloud. To inspect this on your iPhone, go to Settings
, choose your name at the top, select iCloud and then tap Show All(Figure C). Figure C Image: Lance Whitney/TechRepublic At the screen for Link to iPhone or iPad, tap the link for Get data From iCloud Rather. Sign into iCloud with your Apple account. Enter the verification code sent out to your iPhone and tap Connect. The app then connects to iCloud to try to find material to move(Figure D). and then tap the Transfer button( Figure E). Figure E Image: Lance Whitney/TechRepublic
